MdG Glamping Notes and Requirements

I'm developing a high-end eco-resort in Comporta, Portugal

and I am interested in considering the possibility of using glamping tents for the 20 suites.

I designed various project options, this is one

but I would like to simplify the construction process as much as possible and reduce costs, so I decided to consider also the possibility of using luxury glamping tents like the ones you manufacture.

The only perplexity in relation to the use of glamping tents is that although they are very beautiful, in the end, they all tend to look alike and I would like to avoid this problem of aesthetic homogenization.

As I said before, I designed various options and one was to use flat-pack containers to be built in China,

this configuration has already been submitted to the local council and has been approved, so the alternative scheme I designed with tents has the same floor plan measurements to keep the same footprint to avoid radical changes in the project,
nevertheless, we can adjust measurements within a margin of few centimeters.

As you can see in the drawings, the suites are fully self-catering having a kitchen, a pantry, and a dining area.

As for the aesthetic aspect, to distinguish this project from the rest of the glamping resorts that tend to all look alike, as already mentioned, I designed a rustic weathered steel structure that supports and protects the tent from atmospheric agents, with reference to the typical agriculture outhouses of the area
usually built with corrugated metal sheets.

Thus, I'd like to ask you to analyze my drawings and use them as a base for your interpretation, please feel free to propose whatever you have in mind for the structure and for the interiors furniture.

To help you in this process and to contextualize the project, you can look at my photo album related to the area of Comporta where the project will be realized in a land plot with a total area of 8.2Ha.

Please consider that Portugal is the sunniest European country, with a mild and mostly dry climate and the resort will be open only from May till October.
My idea is that, even if used only in the summer season,
the tents should be permanent all year round, thanks to the fact that
they will be protected from the rain and sun by the steel structure.

The wooden floor and walls should be very dark (blackish/charred hardwood)

while the tent fabrics should be preferably in a dark green hue

not only because I like dark warm natural colors
but also to help keep mosquitos and flies out of the tent area
and minimize the visual impact of the structure on the surrounding landscape.

Obviously, I will prepare the deck foundation, electrical and plumbing lines on-site, ready to receive the tents.
I will build also the outer metal structure and corrugated roofing.

All perimeter walls of the tents should "roll-up" to have the space completely open to the outside to maximize the cooling effect of the ocean breeze
and the full immersion in the surrounding landscape.
All tents will enjoy full privacy in their own oasis
surrounded by dense greenery
with no visual contact with the rest of the resort grounds.

If you think you can make such a customized project
then will discuss two more units
the gym 228m2 and the yoga pavilion 100m2.

The ideal would be that the provider of the tents is like a one-stop-shop able to supply a full package including the tents and the furniture avoiding for me to have to coordinate between many vendors.

Well, I think it is enough info for now, obviously, once you have looked at all the info provided we should schedule e video call on Zoom or GoogleMeet to discuss more in-depth all the details.
