I am writing to provide you with some preliminary specifications for my potential order, which would consist of four NKN-36 Large Junior Suites with a number of custom features.
As shown in the attached drawing, the internal layout would remain essentially unchanged from your standard configuration. However, I would like to add or modify the following glazed openings, highlighted in red:
- Bedhead wall: installation of a top-hung window matching the width of the bed, 60 cm high, with its lower edge positioned 170 cm above floor level.
- Kitchenette area: installation of a window matching the width of the worktop and measuring 60 cm in height, with its lower edge positioned 15 cm above the worktop.
- Shower enclosure: installation of a full-width, full-height glazed opening matching the dimensions of the shower enclosure and fitted with two sliding panels.
- Washbasin area: installation of a top-hung window matching the width of the washbasin counter, with its lower edge positioned 15 cm above the counter.
- Glazed wall facing the bed: replacement of the existing apparently fixed glazing with a fully openable, three-panel folding glazed wall. The same system should also be used for the large front glazing of the lounge.
Finally, both glazed openings or doors located on either side of the kitchenette should be openable to ensure effective cross-ventilation throughout the suite.
As for the exterior cladding, I would choose the “Mediterranean” model with Corten steel, while the timber section should be natural dark timber rather than light.
I would definitely opt for the off-grid energy system, incorporating solar panels, potentially installed on the flat roof if technically feasible, while keeping the cabins connected to the mains electricity supply to provide full backup whenever required.
Could you please provide detailed technical specifications for the proposed system, including, in particular: the installed photovoltaic capacity per cabin; battery storage capacity; inverter rated and peak power; whether the solar panels and mounting structures are included; the estimated autonomy under typical operating conditions; and how the automatic switchover to mains backup would operate when solar generation or battery charge is insufficient.
Could you please provide further details on what your proposed broadband connectivity solution includes? I currently use Starlink and would like to know whether you can provide the necessary pre-installation, including conduits and cable routing between the roof-mounted dish and the designated indoor location for the Starlink router and power supply.
Could you please confirm the technical feasibility of all the customizations listed above and indicate their impact on the overall cost, production lead time, and expected delivery schedule?
At this stage, could you also provide a preliminary quotation for the four cabins based on the specifications outlined above, showing both the unit official price per cabin and the total price for all four units? Further items, such as furniture, bed linen and other equipment, will need to be added, but these can be discussed and quoted separately at a later stage.
In addition, I would like you to carry out the same analysis for a separate NKN-40 cabin intended for use as a gym. The interior should be completely open-plan and unfurnished, except for a WC with a washbasin positioned at one of the two short ends.
The north-facing wall should be almost entirely solid, while each of the two short side walls should feature a 0.9-metre-wide glazed door. The entire front elevation should be fully glazed and fitted with bi-fold doors, allowing it to be opened completely.
